On September 17, 2019, hundreds of guests gathered to celebrate the Grand Opening for JCCCA. Students led tours, and were prominently featured in every aspect of the event.

Seniors get the opportunity to select various workshops in partnership with business/industry leaders to learn about life lessons before they take their next steps!

Students interview with business/industry partners to simulate the job interview experience. Sometimes this leads to actual employment!

Last year JCCCA held its first mock interview event that was dedicated solely to the skilled trades industries. 

We are up to almost 50 booths at our annual College and Career Fair, and continue to add new partners each year.

8th Grade students visit all program areas each spring prior to registration, and learn from other students what courses may include for their future. 

An information session is held for parents and students each semester to inform them of all aspects of  dual enrollment. 

Seniors gather with their parents each May to celebrate their senior year and their next steps, as they photograph with posters with the logo of their college or future employer. 

Students in 10th grade had the opportunity to budget for their life based upon their income level, using YouScience results. In conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, they purchased life insurance, cars, etc. learning what it takes to live financially.

Each year, healthcare science students organize and manage three blood drives with the American Red Cross.

Students in Junior Leadership Jones have learned civic lessons, economic development, and toured industry throughout middle Georgia. Conducted in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce. 

CCA Awards night recognizes students who earned TCC's, pathway completion, industry credentials, and our "Business Partner of the Year."

Each spring, a team of administrators and counselors sit with each rising 9th grade family, along with the attached offerings brochure to make registration choices.

Our students learn so much from their WBL/YAP placements. This is our opportunity to thank our employers with a breakfast and special note from their student. 

CNA students work so hard during their training, this event recognizes their achievement with a pinning ceremony and reflection. 

Female engineers came to speak with Science classes about career opportunities within their field. 

Projects often occur in our programs to give back to the community and school system, such as these protective shields built for PEC classrooms. 

Field trips are a great way to see industry first-hand. This particular trip with CW Matthews Co. led to two WBL placements, and one career signing!

Each year, all program areas conduct at least one field trip to a post-secondary partner relative to their area of study.

We appreciate the expertise of our partners, and welcome them to share their experience with the future workforce.

We host events for business and industry in the Community Meeting Room. This leads to tours of our facility and new opportunities for partnership and involvement in programs.
